Is DIYglobal a free Internet service?
 

Yes, a great deal of the information on DIYglobal is accessible free of charge. For instance, the DIYglobal editorial team updates the news from the DIY industry on a daily basis, or weekly for the English version. For four weeks after publication the full text of such news is available for unrestricted viewing. An additional section of information under the heading of DIYglobal plus is, however, reserved for subscribers alone.

 
 
Who produces DIYglobal?

What can I find in the archive? Can only subscribers to DIYglobal plus use it?
 

The archive contains the articles from DIYglobal plus, the news items and all the volumes of the magazine DIY in Europe from 1995 on. The daily news updates are freely available there for four weeks as well. It is possible to initiate a search in the password-protected archive section even without a password, though in such cases the user can only view the list of the articles located, including the source reference. A subscription is necessary to see the text in its entirety.

You can reach an online order page by clicking on the "DIYglobal plus" item on the menu in the left navigation bar. The trial subscription is free of charge for four weeks. You will receive your password as soon as you mail your order, and then you can make use of the services available from DIYglobal plus immediately.

On DIYglobal plus the user can find all the most important information on the DIY retail trade. This includes details about manufacturers, individual product categories, market trends and so forth, all bundled and clearly edited on the one web site. This information can for example be used when preparing a presentation or a lecture, or as a search pool for analysing markets or the competition.
Please note that the archive of the magazine DIY in Europe can be retrieved online; available there are all volumes from 1995 on.
